CITIBIKES: Docking safer and faster

Where to dock my bike during peak hours is a top pain point for Citi Bike commuters. My team conducted “In the wild” user interviews that revealed that riders were frustrated using the app while riding and preferred a heads up solution that was more accurate and took their location into consideration.

Who is my customer?

A bridal designer seeks to grow brand recognition among engaged women in the US. Who are her customers? How do they find her dresses?

A hybrid study that included remote 1:1 interviews and observed customer behavior in retail stores leading to a product page redesign.

Insight: The #1 concern for brides was how does the dress fit my body so I incorporated a variety of body shapes. For the page’s redesign, videos highlighted the gown’s movement.

Result: Affordable dress customizations to add coverage or reduce volume were a delight to customers. To give a sense of proportion for customers used to researching all major purchases online before making a purchase, we included the model’s height and dress size.
